Tenses are used to refer to the time of action.
There are three types of tenses:
1. Past tense
2. Present tense
3. Future tense
• Past tense refers the actions that have already happened.
• Present tense refers to the actions that are happening now or happens regularly.
• Future tense refers to the actions that will happen in the time ahead or in future.
Examples,
• I ate an apple. (Past tense)
• I like swimming. (Present tense)
• I will go to school tomorrow. (Future tense)
