 One word substitutions

  • One word substitutes are the phrases that consist of a complete meaning and replaces a full sentence or a group of words
  • This replacement is done without forming any kind of ambiguity.
  • For example – Autobiography is a word used to replace the sentence “the story of a life of a man written by him".
  • It makes the language beautiful and easily comprehendible.
  • It also creates a good impact while writing and communicating.
