Noun

Noun is the name of a person, place or thing.

Types of Noun

  • Common Noun:

Boy, Country, Day

  • Proper Noun:

Ram, India, Monday

  • Abstract Noun:

Happiness, Truth, Danger.

  • Collective Noun:

Pack of wolves, Cluster of stars, Shoal of fishes

Some Examples of Nouns

  • Ram is a boy.

  • Truth has been spoken
  • Cluster of star looks beautiful at night.

  • Demonstrative Pronoun: this, that, these, those
  • Reflexive Pronoun: Myself, herself, itself
