Punctuations

Punctuations tell us where to pause or stop in a sentence and how to begin a sentence.

Basic punctuation marks are ‘full stop, question mark, and comma’.

• Full stop (.) is used to end a statement or simple sentence.
• Question mark (?) is used to ask questions.
• Comma (,) is used to separate items in a list.

Examples,

• The water is very cold in this river.

• What are you doing these days?

• I will buy fruits, vegetables and some milk.
