Contractions
Contractions are short forms of one or two orders. An apostrophe (‘) is used in contractions.
Look at the following:
• There is- there’s
• You are- you’re
• Do not- don’t
Here are some examples.
• She’s a wonderful player.
• There’s a dog in the park.
• I don’t like tea.
